Design & Illustration

I have designed concept art and world building visual development for fantasy worlds. My most recent world-building is a personal project about a steam-punk fantasy metropolis. The assets I designed involve a funicular and drone. I also have experience in lighting passes and understanding of traditional painting techniques.

Ferus Tel Card Game

This tabletop strategy/therapy game is currently in the beta testing phase - my responsibilities involved world building, maintaining a fantastical style over the course of 20 paintings and to express the mood of each card through composition, lighting, and posture.

Mood Card

Playful/Cherished Dolphin Mood Card

Goal: Capture the dolphin in two environments → the Oceans ecosystem and the savannah ecosystem and capture the feeling of playfulness through posture, lighting, and composition.

Tile-matching designs

Goal: Develop 15 matchable designs to delight users while tile-matching - users must also know which territories they are in, hence the pip designs in the center.

Territory Card

From concept to vector of 9 territory cards which include 9 pips and their specific color palette and visual development

Goal: develop easily distinguishable pips, similar to the pips on a standard deck, which can be attributed with a quick glance to each of the 9 territories of the wolrd.

Gameplay Trifold Rulebooks

Used a Creative Cloud multi-software workflow to create themes for each step of gameplay. Copy editing was involved, but all game design was created by Jonathan Bartlett.
